Salt Spring Island Weavers and Spinners Guild

Welcome to the Salt Spring Island Weavers and Spinners Guild.

Our guild meets regularly to share and learn together. Our focus this year is on "texture" in the fibre arts - weaving and spinning as well as knitting and crochet. Our meetings are open, so please feel free to come out to see what we are doing if you are on the island or visiting.

Many of our members are working on a show "Eye for Colour II" which will be held at ArtSpring on October 17-26, 2008. For this show, a member of the Weavers and Spinners guild will work together with a member of the Salt Spring Painters Guild to create complementary or collaborative pieces for exhibit. Our last Eye for Colour show was indeed colourful and creative!
