Welcome to the Salt Spring Island Weavers and Spinners Guild.
Its our 40th Anniversary. In 2012, the Weavers and Spinners Guild is celebrating forty years on Salt Spring Island. At the annual guild Exhibition and Sale on October 6-8, 2012 we will share our history and demonstrate the craftsmanship of our members who indulge the passion for creating fine textiles, clothing, yarns and other goods; much of which is created from local island grown fibres.
Our guild meets regularly to share and learn together. We have a varied program every year with workshops and presentations on weaving and spinning as well as knitting and crochet. Our meetings are open, so please feel free to come out to see what we are doing if you are on the island or visiting.
